Attackpower

From RoH Wiki

Jump to: navigation, search

Each class has what's called Attack Power (AP). It is the measurement of how hard you can hit an opponent, paired with the basic damage value of your weapon. For example, a berserker would hit much harder than a cleric, both wielding the same weapon. While strength and level the primary determinant for Attack Power for almost all classes, many also have modifiers that give bonuses to attackpower based dexterity or even piety.

Most classes also get a current level bonus (ie. +20 attackpower for being level 20) along with the bonus received from stats like dexterity.

Who Uses What?

AP based on strength: Berserker, Fighter, Werewolf, Vampire, Bard, Mage, Lich, Druid, Fighter/Thief, Fighter/Mage, all pure Clerics (regardless of deity).

  • Most of these classes are fighters and casters, thus only rely on their strength for power.

AP based on a combination of strength + dexterity: Ranger, Assassin, Thief, Monk, Rogue, Mage/Thief, Thief/Mage, Cleric/Assassin, Mage/Assassin.

  • Attackpower for these classes are affected by dexterity because they are considered "finesse" and rely greatly on their agility during combat. Their other skills most likely rely on dexterity as well.

AP based on a combination of strength + piety: Deathknight, Paladin.
