Cleric/Assassin
From RoH Wiki
Cleric/assassins are clerics which specialize in killing people. As a result, they are trained as assassins but also skilled in the clerical arts. A cleric/assassin may only pledge to Aramon, as the Cult is the only one responsible for training its clerics in this manner.
General Information
- Cleric/assassins are primarily like a cleric, but having assassin abilities.
- Their casting time is slower than that of a cleric, or in other words, the same as an assassin's.
- Because of their trained stealthiness, they have the ability to scout, sneak, hide quite well, and backstab. Yet, none of these qualities are nearly done as well as a pure assassin.
- Because they are still considered clerics in training, they are granted the ability to cast spells such as animate and cure-disease.
Summary of Skills: animate, backstab, pray, scout.
Lacking Pure Class Skills: no enthrall, no harm spell, no peek, no pick, no parry/riposte.
Armor Type: Leather
- Allowed Races: Half-Orc, Cambion
- Stat Cycle: STR, DEX, CON, PTY, INT, PTY, INT, STR, CON, PTY
Benefits from Stats
Suggested prime requisites are in magenta. If you decide to make a cleric/assassin, do keep in mind which stats affect what. This class is particularly hard to stat for at times, because most of the stats play a bit of a role in everything. It is up to you how you would like to prioritize:
- Piety: Main factor that determines how long your animations last. Because you will be heavily relying on them for damage, it is recommended that you distribute more points into this stat.
- Strength: Aids you in physical damage, thus backstab and your normal hitting.
- Intellect: Cl/As are very flexible and do not have to rely on the stun spell, since they still have healing abilities. It is up to your play style whether or not you want a casting cleric.
- Dexterity: Your attack power and dodge rate both partially rely on this stat. The higher it is, the better both these things will be.
- Constitution: Not as important, since clerics can heal. Lower CON may result in longer durations of being poisoned, but any cleric may cast cure-poison to remedy this.
Training Locations
All multiclass characters train at the location of their first class. Please see the Cleric of Aramon page for directions to training.
